To achieve the certificate, participants must complete a work-based Record of Competence (RoC). The course does not include an exam. This qualification supports dental nurse development both professionally and personally, fostering self-confidence and respect within the dental team.

The NEBDN Certificate in Fluoride Varnish Application can be undertaken either as a standalone course or alongside another NEBDN certificate. It is ideal for Dental Nurses who assist in the application of fluoride varnish, and who wish to contribute more actively to preventative oral health care.

• GDC-registered Dental Nurse (must provide your qualification certificate and GDC registration letter)
• Currently employed at a dental practice
• Employer support to complete your Record of Competence
• Complete enrolment pack via DocuSign

• £420 including VAT Course Fee
• £95 NEBDN RoC Fee
